Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the bottom cover (see
), and then remove the following components:

Battery (see

Solid-state drive (see
c.
WLAN module (see
NOTE:
When replacing the system board, be sure to install the solid-state drive, WLAN module, and heat
sink (
) on the replacement system board.
Remove the system board:
1.
Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1): WLAN module
(2): WLAN antennas
(3): TouchPad cable
(4): Keyboard backlight cable
(5): Keyboard cable
(6): Display panel cable
