is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
nnnnnn
is an octal return code from the PRINTSTART operation. These return codes are
defined in the
Spooler Programmer’s Guide
.
Cause.
The FASTPTCP process received an unexpected return code from the
Spooler system procedure PRINTSTART.
Effect.
The status of the print job and the device is indeterminate.
Recovery.
If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems
on page 8-1.

is the status from SEGMENT_ALLOCATE_
Cause.
The FASTPTCP process could not allocate a workspace for user conversion.
Effect.
No printing occurs, the Spooler job is requeued, and the Spooler device is
placed offline.
Recovery.
If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems
on page 8-1.
