Bottom cover
The bottom cover is on the bottom of the column. It is secured with four Phillips screws.
To remove the bottom cover:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to disassemble the column on page 77
).
2.
Remove the rear covers from the computer (see
Removing the rear covers from the computer
on page 78
).
3.
Separate the computer from the column (see
Separating the computer from the column on page 80
).
4.
Remove the four Phillips screws
(1)
that secure the cover to the bottom of the column, and then remove
the cover from the column
(2)
. You may need to use a flat tool to release the cover from the column.
To replace the bottom cover, reverse the removal procedures.
