to display the currently configured LOG channels configuration, LOG1…8 (points
186…193).
Overview
Up to eight logging channels may be activated with sampling time options of 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60
minutes.
Any function block value may be logged. Channels include a start-point connection which allows a point
to be logged only under certain conditions such as digital status based and alarm-threshold based (use
Analogue Logic or Digital Logic block as the start point) or based on time (use one of the clock channels
as a start point). In any case the start point must be ON for the related channel to actively log. If no
event based logging is required then you may use any spare function block as the start point and write
that point’s value >0 so that the logging is always active.
Each channel has capacity of over 7,500 data records including a bi-hourly sync record that must be
accounted for additional to the time based data records. Based on this the table below indicates the
number of days available before the oldest data will be overwritten with latest data:

Using time clock channel 1, 2, 3 or 4 as a start/stop point it is also possible to log daily (for instance) by
setting 60 minute sample period and scheduling start/stop point 101, 102, 103 or 104 to be on at the
hour and off some minutes after the hour.
Each logging point has three sub-parameters. These are as follows:
Logged point #:
xxx00=
1…185 (the point # who’s value will be recorded
Sampling time:
xxx01=
1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 (minutes)
Start/Stop sub-parameter:
xxx02=
1….185 (the start/stop point #)
When multiple logger channels are configured with similar sample period and start/stop point then enter
all the xxx00 parameters first then parameters xxx01 and xxx02. In the chiller COP Logger application
below these are entered as follows for LOG channels 1…3:
18600=54 18700=17 18800=153
18601=5 18701=5 18801=5
18602=29 18702=29 18802=29
