2.11 Registration of the Unit

As brand new, the ECU is limited to 2500 rpm. To release the ECU in order to reach the maximum RPMs, your 

Authorized HSR-BENELLI dealer needs to create an AUTHORIZATION CODE through his B2B Platform. The 

Authorized HSR-BENELLI dealer is the only one who can release the ECU. At the moment the authorization 

number is requested, the unit will be registered and the warranty period will start.

The dealer must perform the following steps:

Log on to the HUDS with the laptop

Read out the ECU Code 

Get the unit’s engine number and VIN. Access B2B; fill in the requested data therein, and read out the 

access code.

Enter the access code in the HUDS and save the information.

Remove the lanyard to turn ignition off, and turn it on again to make the ECU read the new data.
