Cursors for “hot” and “cold” spots
➢
Touch the icon “
” to activate the dynamic
cursors indicating the “hottest” (red) and
“coldest” (blue) spots of the image.
➢
The temperatures associated with the
dynamic cursors (Hi and Lo) is shown in the
top left-hand part of the display.
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to remove the cursors.
Area Cursors
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to activate the mobile
cursor A1 indicating a closed area, which
can be freely modified and dragged on the
display. Touch the icon repeatedly to
activate the other mobile cursors indicated
as A2 and A3.
➢
The
temperatures
MIN,
MAX,
AVG
(average) of the spots inside the area are
shown in the top left-hand part of the
display.
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to remove the area.
Line Cursors
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to activate the horizontal
line mobile cursor which can be freely
dragged on the display. Touch the icon a
second time to activate the vertical line
cursor. The display shows the dynamic
trend of temperature.
➢
The
temperatures
MIN,
MAX,
AVG
(average) of the spots on the line are shown
in the top left-hand part of the display.
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to remove the line.
Face mode
➢
Touch the icon “
” to activate the “Face
mode”, which allows measuring the
maximum face temperature of a person who
must be framed within the area shown on
the display
➢
The face area automatically becomes
rectangular as shown in Fig. 35
➢
The Screening function (see § 5.2.1.2) must
be selected on the instrument.
➢
Touch the icon “ ” to remove the area.
