6.1.2 Alarm Maintenance
Maintenance Link Failure
Context
If ALD Maintenance Link Failure is reported during AISU operation and maintenance, the
eNodeB determines whether to clear the alarm or not based on the actual link conditions.
Table 6-3 describes the maintenance link failure symptom.
Table 6-3

System
Severity
Possible Cause
The eNodeB
periodically checks
the AISG link status
of the AISU. When
the AISG link is
abnormal, the
eNodeB reports
ALD Maintenance
Link Failure.
The AISU
maintenance link is
disconnected. As a
result, the AISU
cannot be
configured, and
antenna engineering
parameters cannot
be obtained.
Major
An AISU that does not
exist is configured.
The AISU is
disconnected from the
eNodeB.
Multiple RAE devices
are configured in non-
daisy-chain scenarios.
The AISU is faulty.
The ALD power switch
on the eNodeB is turned
off.
The eNodeB is faulty.
Figure 6-1 shows the detailed information about ALM-26541 ALD Maintenance Link Failure.
