4.1 Configuring the Network Authentication
When you use the BM325 to access the network, you need to pass the authentication for
network access. You can configure the authentication in the following steps:
Step 1
Start the BWA Partner and click
Profile
.
Step 2
Select the key management type from the
Privacy
Key
Management
(
PKM
)
drop-down list. If you select
NO_PKM
, go to Step 7.
Step 3
Select the authentication type from the
Authentication
drop-down list. There are two
authentication types such as the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol and the
Tunneled Transport Layer Security (TTLS) protocol.
Step 4
Enter the anonymous ID provided by the ISP. If you select the TLS authentication type
in the previous step, go to Step 7.
Step 5
Select the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) type from the
Inner
EAP
drop-down list.
Step 6
Enter the user ID and password provided by the ISP.
Step 7
Click
Save
.

to restore the parameters to the settings before modification.
4.2 Configuring the Network Frequency
Before you configure the network frequency, you need to set the network bandwidth.
There are two types of bandwidth, such as 5 M and 10 M. The default bandwidth is
recommended.
To set the bandwidth, do as follows:
Step 1
Start the BWA Partner and click
Profile
.
Step 2
Select the network bandwidth from the
Bandwidth
Setting
drop-down list.

You can configure the network frequency by two modes:
z
Smart scan mode: Set the bandwidth and step length of the network. Enter the start
frequency point and end frequency point for automatic search. Thus, the BM325 can
search for available frequency points automatically.
z
Expert scan mode: Set the bandwidth of the network. Enter the specific frequency
points in sequence, so that the BM325 can search for these points one by one.
