5.1.2 Web Configuration Interface
To configure the upgrade server through the Web configuration
interface, open the Web browser. Then do as follows:
Enter the ET325 IP address.
Enter the admin password to access the Web configuration interface. The
Advanced
Settings
page is displayed. Configure as follows:
1. Select the TFTP or HTTP upgrade method.
2. Enter the IP address or FQDN of the firmware server
in the
Firmware Server Path
field.
3. Enter the IP address or FQDN of the configuration
server in the
Config Server Path
field.
For example, if the server's IP address is 192.169.9.31, and the firmware
and configuration files are located in the
/dir
directory, then you need to
enter
192.169.9.31/dir
in the above fields.
Update the change by clicking
Update
.
Reboot or power cycle the phone to update the new firmware.
During this upgrade stage, the LCD will display the firmware file
downloading process. If a firmware upgrade fails for any reason
(for example, the TFTP/HTTP server is not responding, there
are no code image files available for upgrade, or checksum test
fails), the phone will stop the upgrading process and re-boot
using the existing firmware/software.
During the upgrade, the ET325 has three stages: downloading,
verifying, and writing. In the writing (writing data to the Flash
memory) stage, make sure that power supply is normal. If
power supply fails, the ET325 cannot be rebooted. In this case,
you can only restore the firmware.
To restore the firmware, do as follows:
Set the IP address of a computer to 168.75.215.188, the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0,
and the gateway to 168.75.215.188. Do not set multiple IP address on the
network adapter. Start the TFTP server on the computer, and then place the
