Once the ET325 boots up (or reboots), it will request a
configuration file named "cfgxxxxxxxxxxxx", in which
xxxxxxxxxxxx
is the MAC address of the device, such as
cfg0018820102AB. The name of the configuration file should be
in lowercase.
This function requires the
special upgrading tool and
template of the configuration
file. If needed, contact the
service provider.
5.2.1 Managing Firmware and Downloaded
Configuration Files
When
Automatic Upgrade
is set to
Yes
, a service provider can
use P193 (Auto Check Interval in minute, and the default and
minimum interval is
60
minutes) to check devices periodically
for upgrades at prescheduled interval. By defining different
intervals in P193 for different devices, a server provider can
manage and reduce the firmware or provisioning server load at
any given time.
