Step 2
Clear foreign matter inside the ventilation vent using the brush.

Install the spare air filter in the original position.

Dispose of the removed air filter that is confirmed faulty.
6.2.6 Replacing a Thermal Insulation Layer
Prerequisites
A thermal insulation layer needs to be replaced.
A spare thermal insulation layer of the same model is available and functional.

Preparations
Tools: utility knife, glue for installing thermal insulation foam, tinfoil adhesive, brush,
protective gloves, ESD floor suction plate
Materials: thermal insulation foam, dry rag
Documents required: none
Skill requirement: cooling engineer
Procedure
Step 1
(Optional) Open the aisle floor using the ESD floor suction plate.
Step 2
Remove the straps and thermal insulation foam from a pipe.
Step 3
Wipe off the condensate water from the surface of the pipe.
If the condition allows, close the valves at both ends of the device for which the pipe thermal insulation
foam needs to be replaced, and open the valves after the replacement is completed.
Step 4
Rewrap the thermal insulation foam.
Close the humidifier valve before replacing the thermal insulation foam for the humidifier drainpipe and
open the valve after the replacement is complete.
Step 5
Wrap the straps again.
