HES-319M ODU
The HES-319M ODU incorporates:
A modem for communications with the IDU
Data processing and management software
A high–gain antenna
A radio transmitter/receiver for communications with the base station
The ODU interfaces are:
RJ–45 port (A):
o
Supports a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet communications link to the IDU
o
Is a Power over Ethernet, or PoE, connection: the power to the ODU is supplied from the IDU over this
link
o
Weather–sealed with the sealing gland assembly (B)
Signal Strength LEDS (C):
o
Five LEDs indicate the strength of the signal received from the base station.

Weather–sealed with the LED cap (D)
Ground screw (E): Used to connect the ODU to an approved building ground point.
The ODU can be located:
Up to 18mi–30km from the base station
Up to 328ft–100m from the customer’s computing equipment
