For fibers outside the cabinet, the corrugated pipe is required, which should be extended
into the cabinet about 10 cm.

l

Fibers under the protection of the corrugated pipe can go through the inter-layer (the space
between the cement floor and the ESD-preventive floor) of the floor or the cabling trough
in the equipment room installed with supports and ESD-preventive floor.

l

If the fibers are led out from the top of the cabinet, a cabling frame should be built over the
cabinet for cabling. In the case that the distance between the cabling frame and the cabinet
top is more than 0.8 m, a cable ladder should be used.

13.2.2 Fiber Bundling

This section describes the method of and requirements on fiber bundling.

l

Fiber straps are usually used to bundle fibers.

l

Fibers should be bundled tidily and neatly with a nice appearance.

l

Fibers should be arranged smoothly. Crossovers should be avoided.
