Table 12-2

When you attempt to
use Telnet to access
the TE30, a message
is displayed to
indicate that the
number of
connections to the
TE30 has reached
the limit.

The number of connections to
the TE30 has reached 7.

Disconnect some Telnet
connections.

If the interval between two
connection attempts is less than
10 minutes, the TE30 counts
these two attempts as separate
connections. When such
connection attempts are
frequent, the connection limit,
which is 7, is easily reached.
For example, when network
faults are rectified immediately
after they occur, Telnet
connections are reestablished
while the Telnet resources
remain occupied.

If no data is transmitted through a
Telnet connection for 10 minutes,
the connection breaks
automatically. Wait 10 minutes or
longer to allow some Telnet
connections to break, before you try
to access the TE30 by Telnet.
