If the SIP server can function as an SNTP server, you can set the SNTP server to
the SIP server.

to view the status of the SNTP server.

4.3 IAD(MGCP) Accessing NGN/IP PBX
When the network is normally connected, if the IAD registers with the MGC server
(for example, SoftSwitch) as a media gateway (MG) successfully, it can implement the
voice call function.
Prerequisite
Since the IAD uses the SIP protocol mode by default, you must run
protocol-mode
mgcp
to switch the IAD into the MGCP protocol mode.
You can run
display protocol-mode
to view the current protocol mode.
Data Preparation
Before configuring the IAD, you should obtain the following items of data from the
administrator.

Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the CLI with the user name
root
and password
admin
, and then run the
following commands to enter the global configuration mode.
Enter the privilege mode.
TERMINAL>
enable
Enter the global configuration mode.
TERMINAL#
configure terminal
(Optional) Set the system timeout interval to the maximum to avoid logging in to the
IAD regularly (the timeout interval is 5 minutes by default).
