2.4.5 Installing Boards and Subcards

This section describes how to install boards and subcards.

Context

CAUTION

l

Ensure that the device and board are completely dry and free of liquid before inserting the
board into the device.

l

Before installing boards, wear the ESD wrist strap and ensure that the strap is well
grounded to prevent any electrostatic discharge from damaging sensitive components.

Procedure

Step 1

Select slots based on slot distribution.

You can determine whether a slot is suitable for a board by checking whether the color on
both ends of the board panel is the same as the color on the slot.
