Inserting an SPU
Step 6
Check the running status of the new SPU.
Check the running status of the new SPU in the following ways:
l
Check the RUN indicator on the panel of the SPU. If it is on (green), the SPU is working
normally.
l
Check the alarms. If the system does not generate any alarm related to the new SPU, the
SPU is working normally.
l
Run the
display device
command on the console interface. If the SPUs in the
corresponding slots are working normally, the following is displayed:
