and send the faulty module with the Repair

Transmission Sheet to the equipment supplier or the specified repair service provider.

3.7 Replacing an Air Filter

This section describes the procedure for replacing an air filter.

3.7.1 Replacing the Air Filter of the USG9580

This section describes the procedure for replacing the air filter on the USG9580.

Precautions

To ensure proper heat dissipation and ventilation for the system and to prevent the
accumulation of dust in the air filter, clean the air filter at least once every three months and
replace it once a year. If the environment is especially dusty, clean the air filter more
frequently.

Configuring a Cleaning Cycle for the Air Filter

You can configure a cleaning cycle for the air filter on the chassis using the

dustproof check-

timer day

command in the system view.

When the air filter has already been running for a period of time, the system generates an
alarm to remind you to clean the air filter. You can use the

reset dustproof run-time

command to clear the alarm and re-count the runtime of the air filter. The default cleaning
cycle is 90 days. The value 0 indicates that the air filter monitoring is stopped.

NOTE

The air filter does not have memory. All monitored information is saved on the MPU, which may be inserted,
removed, switched, or replaced at any time. Therefore, the monitoring cycle may differ from the set cycle.
However, this does not affect the monitoring function.
