NOTE
The air filter does not have memory. All monitored information is saved on the MPU, which may be inserted,
removed, switched, or replaced at any time. Therefore, the monitoring cycle may differ from the set cycle.
However, this does not affect the monitoring function.
Tool
Before replacing an air filter, you need the following tools:

ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves
l
Phillips screwdriver
Procedure
Step 1
Check the location of the air filter to be replaced.
Before pulling out an air filter that is to be replaced, check its location, that is, the cabinet and
chassis where the air filter resides and then label the air filter.
Step 2
Put on the ESD wrist strap and connect the grounding terminal to the ESD jack on the rack.
Step 3
Remove the air filter from the air intake frame.

The air filter is located behind the device. Loosen the captive screws on the panel on the
rear of the device, as shown in

Holding the panel of the air filter, slowly pull the air filter out until it leaves the chassis,
as shown in

Step 4
Install a clean and dry air filter in the air intake frame.

Insert the clean and dry air filter into the chassis, as shown in

Fasten the captive screws onto the panel of the air filter, as shown in
(2).
