Affixing the Power Cable Label
Remove the label from the bottom page and then affix it to the identification plate on the
cable tie. Affix the label to the rectangular flute on only one side of the identification plate.
Cable ties are bound 2 cm from the connectors. In special circumstances, other positions are
allowed.
Cable ties should be bound on both ends of a cable. After cable ties are in position, depending
on the orientation of the cabling, the finished identification plate should be positioned on the
top or on the right side of the cable, as shown in
follows:

For vertical cabling, orient the identification card out to the right of the cable.
l
For cabling laid out horizontally, orient the identification card above the cable and make
sure the label is facing out.
