9.1.1 Traffic Policy Fails to Take Effect
This section describes the troubleshooting flowchart and provides a step-by-step troubleshooting
procedure to use when the traffic policy fails to take effect.
Common Causes
This fault is commonly caused by one of the following:

The traffic policy fails to be applied.
l
The traffic policy is applied to an incorrect direction.
l
The packets do not match rules of the traffic classifier in the traffic policy.
l
The traffic behavior associated with the traffic classifier in the traffic policy is configured
incorrectly.
