module slot is faulty, or the fan module is incorrectly installed.

Confirm the replacement.
1.
Perform a post-replacement inspection.
After the parts replacement, return to the SmartKit page and click
Replaced
. Then
complete the check after the replacement as prompted.
2.
Check system status.
On the
Parts Replacement
page, click
Inspection
to check the system status again. If
any inspection item fails, rectify the fault based on the suggestions in the inspection
report.
3.
After the preceding procedure is complete, check services on the host for any storage-
related error.

Label the replaced fan module to facilitate subsequent operations.
5.13.3 Replacing a Data Switch
This section describes how to replace a data switch.
Impact on the System
During the replacement of a data switch, the data switch is powered off. This causes all I/O
forwarding workload to transfer to another data switch, degrading the system reliability.
Prerequisites

The spare part is ready.

The data switch to be replaced has been located.

Before the replacement, restore the password of account
ibc_os_hs
for each management
module, and data switch to the default one.
