How do I Restore the Device to Factory Settings?
While the WiFi Cube 2 is turned on, press the reset button for
approximately 3 seconds using a pointed object until the power
indicator turns off. Please note restoring factory settings will restore all
the device settings to default. You can reconfigure them after the
device is restored.
What should I do if I forgot the Wi-Fi password or the
Login Password for the Web-based Management Page?
Restore the WiFi Cube 2 to its factory settings and then use the default
Wi-Fi password and login password to try again.
What should I do if the MODE indicator is Red or an
Internet Connection cannot be Established?
1.
Check if the SIM card is inserted correctly. Refer to the Device Setup
section of this Quick Start Guide for the correct size of SIM card and
the correct way to insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot.
2.
If the issue persists, restore the WiFi Cube 2 to factory settings and
try again.
3.
Contact Vodafone to check that your SIM card is still active. If it's a
new or replacement SIM card, check if it has been activated.
What should I do if the Internet speed is slow?
1.
Check the signal indicators on the WiFi Cube 2. If it shows weak
signal, adjust the device’s angle or move it close to a window to
improve signal reception.
2.
If your device e.g. smartphone, tablet or computer is connected to
the WiFi Cube 2 over Wi-Fi, adjust your device's position to receive
a better signal.
3.
Switch to the WiFi Cube 2’s 5GHz Wi-Fi band if it is supported by
your smartphone, tablet or computer.
4.
Restart both the WiFi Cube 2 and your device, and try again.
