Before connecting the power at its source and switching on the HPS/RFL GARD Pro system, check
the following:
•
Is the HPS/RFL GARD Pro system grounded correctly?
•
Is the installed HPS/RFL GARD Pro system power supply designed to operate at the
available input supply voltage?
•
Is the polarity of the supply power correct?
•
If installed in an enclosed cabinet, is the unit ventilated correctly?
Power connections may now be made to the HPS/RFL GARD Pro system.

Discrete I/O Modules Connections/Pinouts
The function of the Discrete I/O Base module (RF-500800) is to hold two I/O modules. The two
I/O modules plug onto the Discrete I/O Base using an array of connector pins on the Discrete I/O
base which plug into mating connectors on the I/O modules. The location of the I/O modules on
