Assembly and start-up
The machine must be fastened to a suitable flat surface. Calculate and check that the mounting is
markedly stronger than the nominal operating load.

Servicing and maintenance
Regular lubrication with high-pressure grease (e.g. MOBIL HP222) is necessary.

Contraindications for use
Before using the equipment, check that there are no causes of overloading such as: grip, vacuum,
sticking, etc.
All prohibited and incorrect uses or operations are presented below:
It is prohibited to:
▪
lift or press loads in excess of the nominal load indicated on the machine plate;
▪
pull at an angle;
▪
use the jack to lift staff;
▪
walk under a load;
▪
insert objects into moving parts;
▪
perform operations on a machine while it is loaded;
▪
use the machine for operations other than those for which it is designed;
▪
use the machines for continuous operations;
▪
subject the jack to impacts;
▪
motorise the machines;
▪
use handles other than the original ones;
▪
use machines at temperatures under 10°C or over 50°C.

Compulsory regulatory checks
This equipment has been designed to be tested:
▪
in a dynamic situation, with a coefficient of 1.1
▪
in a static situation:

to a coefficient of 1.5 for human powered machines
-
to a coefficient of 1.25 for other machines
A periodic maintenance check is required once a year:
In accordance with regulations, the user must keep an inspection booklet recording all the inspections and
operations carried out on the machine (Rule FEM 9755).
