HugMy.pet ThePaw
Select 12 hour Power saving mode.
If you discover that your pet has gone
missing, then simply return to this setting
and select the fastest update of 1 minute to
pin-point his or her exact location.
Essentially, there’s no point reporting back
your pet’s location when he or she is right
by your side, but beauty of ThePaw is your
ability to communicate with it, even when
you don’t know where your pet happens to
be. This means you can increase
communication feedback as and when you
need it, saving battery in the meantime.
For ultra-power-saving (longest possible
battery life), select 12 hours power saving
positioning.

Sensor lights
A fantastic feature of ThePaw is the ability
to switch on sensor lights. This will light up
the 4 ‘paw’ lights on the device and can be
very useful for finding your pet outside at
night.
However, head to this feature under
Settings
/
Sensor lights
and turn it off for
now.
As and when your pet goes missing, simply
fire up the app and go to
Settings
/
Sensor
lights
and switch on this feature. The
beauty of ThePaw is that you’re in
communication with it, so you can add this
feature as and when you need it, rather
than draining the battery the rest of the
time.
Finally, unless you’re using it to show off ThePaw to your pals, or you have actually lost your pet, don’t
keep the App or website open unnecessarily. When you do, it will have a tendency to ‘ping’ ThePaw
periodically, meaning the ThePaw will need to use up some energy to respond. Just let it do its thing and
check in when you actually need to know the whereabouts of your pet.
