8.1.3. WHEEL AND TIRES
Always and under all circumstances, it is necessary to use the correct tire size depending on the wheel dimensions. The tire
must be properly inflated according to the tire manufacturer´s information (usually indicated on the tire). The orientation test
can be performed by stepping on a riser plate and checking for tire dents. When properly inflated, their dents should be minimal.
In addition to the correct pressure, the tires must be inspected for overall, wear, damage, deformation, and a properly fastened
and undamaged valve.
Recommended tire pressure – front, rear 2-4 Bar depending on the type of scooter (maximum pressure is indicated on the casing).
Check that rims are clean and undamaged at the inner edge of the tire. Check the wheel rims for visible damage.
Spin each wheel and check the brake play, proper cantering, horizontal and vertical oscillations. If the wheel oscillates from side
to side or touches the brake system (brake calliper), have the electric scooter adjusted by a specialist garage.
To centre and adjust the wheels, you need to have technical knowledge, experience, special tools and instruments. We recommend
leaving these activities to a professional service!
