When you drive the Pendel, always remind you:
Don’t drive through water. Avoid mud holes and water puddles. Water
and mud can damage the
Pendel’s drive parts.
Always drive carefully. Use the slow speed setting in pedestrian area’s
and shopping centers.
Only drive on flat and solid surfaces. Avoid extreme bumpy roads and
areas. Avoid soft sandy roads or beaches.
Avoid slopes which are steeper than 17% . Drive slowly uphill and also
drive slowly down hill.
Avoid wet and slippery surfaces. Drive carefully if it rains or when
there is snow and ice on the roads.
Reduce speed when entering a corner. Cornering at high speed might
cause instability of the Pendel and yourself.
Don’t push or pull other vehicles with the Pendel. You might overload
the Pendel and damage the motor and/ or electronics.
Don’t take passengers with you. The Pendel is purely designed to
transport only one person in a manuals wheelchair.
Don’t drive over obstacles higher than 12 cm. Don’t jump over hills or
bumps
. Don’t drive off pedestrian areas at high speed.
Drive slowly when you’re driving backwards. There might be persons,
animals or vehicles behind you.
Don’t drink and drive!
