Methods to be avoided
Chemical disinfection: 70% ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar
Steam sterilization
Thermal disinfection: wash at 65°C (149°F) for at least 10 minutes

Thermal disinfection: Wash at 71°C (160°F) for at least 3 minutes

Ethylene Oxide ‘Gas’ sterilization
Note: Add 8 minutes to both options of thermal disinfection to ensure that heat has
penetrated the fabric. Finish with a rinse cycle.

one client at a time. In order to prevent possible
transmission of infectious diseases, it is import
