1.3 Replacement of the emergency pendant battery
The
pedant is equipped with a pre-installed 12V internal battery (type 23A). Each time the
red button is pressed, the LED will light up to indicate the transmission. In case the LED
does not light up, please replace battery with a new one. Use a small Phillips screwdriver
to remove the 3 screws holding the pendant together. Exchange the battery and re-
assemble the pendant.
1.4 Connecting the power adaptor and telephone line
Connect the plug of the power supply with the power socket marked with »DC 9V« on
the rear of the telephone and connect the telephone line with the line-in socket.
For safety reasons, please only use the power adapter which is supplied with the tele

phone.
