5. Can I use the SmartView Synergy SI in oversea countries?
Yes, the Synergy SI has a 110/220v switching adaptor allowing use in any country. You will need
a passive pin changer to fit sockets in different countries.
6. What is the warranty for the SmartView Synergy SI?
This device is a high quality product, built and packaged with care. All units and components are
guaranteed against any operational defects as follows:
US and Canada: three (3) year
Europe: two (2) years
Australia and New Zealand: two (2) years
Other countries: one (1) year
Warranty covers parts and labor. If any defect should occur, please contact your
local distributor or the manufacturer.
7. Do I need a software upgrade to go from a standard to an advanced control panel?
No. Simply change or add the advanced control panel and all the features are automatically
available. You can also connect a second keypad in the back panel of your Synergy SI.
8. Can I buy a separate advanced control panel to upgrade an existing unit?
Yes. After receiving the unit either replace the standard control panel under the LCD or plug the
advanced control panel into the rear of the unit.
9. Where do I find the serial number of my Synergy SI?
The Serial number is printed on a sticker on the back of the column, above the rear panel. This
information is important for tech-support troubleshooting or warranty repair.
10. Are the LED lights user-replaceable?
The lights are long life LEDs and the user should not need to replace these during the normal life
of the product.
11. I would like to use my Synergy with my large TV, is this possible?
Yes, Synergy has a NTSC TV output that can be connected via standard RCA cable to TV.
