N.B. : To check that the lubricator unit (4, Fig. E) is operating correctly, operate the control of the fixed bead presser (8, Fig. G), checking
that at every 5-6 arm travel strokes, a drop of oil falls into the clear cup (5, Fig. E) of the lubricator.
Otherwise, adjust the lubricator regulator screw (6, Fig. E) with a screwdriver.
6.5 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before making any electrical connection check carefully that the mains voltage is the same as that stated on the voltage label (on
the tyre changer power supply cable).
It is absolutely compulsory for the system to be earthed effectively.
The machine must be connected to a differential security breaker rated at 30 mA.
Refer to the dataplate on the rear of the tyre changer for the power absorption required, and check that the mains system available is suitably
rated.
WARNING!
Any work on the electrical system, however minor, must be done by qualified staff.
The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage deriving from failure to follow the above instructions, which
will also cause the immediate expiry of the warranty.
6.6 FITTING THE WHEEL LIFT
(if supplied)
1- Operate the pedal (1, Fig. G/1) to raise the lift arm (1, Fig. F/1) completely.
WARNING!
When doing this, keep as far as possible from the radius of
operation of the arm.
2- Fit the pin on the lift into the hole in the stabiliser bar (2, Fig. F/2), taking care to
fit the washers on both sides.
Secure the pin with the snap ring provided (see Fig. F/2).
3- Raise and turn the lift, thus fitting the arm into place (see Fig. F/3).
4- Fit the pin (3, Fig. F/4) into the lift, fitting the washers.
Fix with the screw (4, Fig. F/4).
