Mount the Blind

Align the snap buttons on the uprights (and the bottom rail, if applicable) with the front of 
the mounting brackets.

Insert the snap buttons into the mounting brackets until they “snap” in place. 

IMPORTANT:  

If the snap buttons do not align with the mounting brackets, fix the problem in 

one of the following ways:

Inside Mount:

  Shim the blind or mounting brackets.

Outside Mount:

  Re-position the mounting brackets.

Inside or Outside Mount:

  Use flat head screws instead of snap buttons. Be sure to  

pre-drill the holes to avoid splitting the uprights.

Troubleshooting

Problem

The specialty shape will not fit into the mounting brackets.

Solution

Verify that the mounting bracket placement is accurate. Adjust if necessary.  
See “Install the Mounting Brackets” on page 10.

Problem

The bottom of the specialty shape does not appear straight.

Solution

Verify that the mounting bracket placement is accurate. Adjust if necessary.  
See “Install the Mounting Brackets” on page 10.

Problem

The specialty shape is not centered in the window. 

Solution

Verify the center of the window and check that the mounting brackets were 
accurately mounted. Reinstall mounting brackets, if necessary.
Adjust the mounting bracket placement. See “Install the Mounting Brackets” 
on page 10.
