OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CUTTING
1. Operate the switch (forward or reverse) by depressing the
center lock-out button and toggle the switch up or down to
release the movable blade.
2. Place the cable to be cut onto the stationary blade and rotate
the moveable blade around the cable by hand and engage into
the drive gear.
3. While holding the center lock-out button, depress the forward
toggle switch to drive the blade through the cable to be cut.
Hold switch until cable is completely cut.
4. To cut continuous on smaller diameter cable, rotate the toggle
switch forward and reverse with the blade engaged in the drive
gear.
5. When completed, remove any chips that may have become
attached to the brush during use. This will help avoid damage to
the drive gear.
CIRCUIT BREAKER
1. The circuit breaker will be activated, and the tool stops, in the
following circumstances:
• Oversized or harder material is cut.
• The tool becomes overheated from successive use.
• Drawn Amperage exceeds the rated amperage.
• (The reset pin will pop out about 2mm from its original position.)
2. To continue using the tool, wait 10 seconds to 1 minute and press
the reset pin back into position. (Normal operation can resume
when the reset pin has been returned to its original position)
Note:
The circuit breaker may also be activated even operating
the tool within the cutting capacity. The operating temperature,
cable bend and other factors affect the performance of the tool.
