CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER
See Figure 11, page 16.
If a nail or fastener becomes jammed in the tool, disconnect
the air hose and keep the tool pointed away from you while
clearing the jam.
Disconnect the tool from the air supply.
Open jam release door.
Insert a flat blade screwdriver under jammed nail. Pry out
nail, use pliers if necessary.
Remove the bent fastener.
Use the flat blade screwdriver to push the driver blade to
its top position.
Reconnect the tool to the air supply.
Reinstall fasteners and close the magazine.
REMOVING NAILS FROM THE TOOL
See Figure 10, page 16.
Disconnect the tool from the air supply.
To remove a strip of nails from the tool, depress the latch
located at the rear of the magazine and slide the magazine
open.
Remove the nail strip.
To close the magazine, depress the latch and push the
magazine forward. Release the latch to hold the magazine
in place.
WARNING:
Disconnect the tool from the air supply before clearing a
jammed fastener. Failure to do so could result in serious
personal injury.
