8. USE
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Charge the battery to the full before the first use. Several charging and discharging
cycles may be necessary to achieve full battery capacity.
The battery can be charged using the USB charger (not included). To start charging
plud the power supply cord to the socket located in a bottom part of the device body.
Plug the second end of cable to the power supply. The start of charging will be
indicated by the red charging indicator lighting up. When the indicator light changes to
green, disconnect the power cord from the unit.
Avoid excessive battery discharge. This can damage the battery or shorten its
service life.
TRIMMING HAIR
Hair should be clean clean and dry or damp before cutting. Comb your hair carefully
so it's not tangled. Put a towel around your neck so that your hair does not fall
behind the collar.
Choose one of two combs depending on the planned length of the cut. The shorter cap
allows you to cut to a length of 0.5 - 10 mm and the longer one to 10.5 - 20 mm. Slide
the selected cap into the rails at the top of the body next to the cutting blades. Use the
cut length adjustment knob to set the desired cut length. Before starting the cutting -
check whether the comb has been mounted properly and is stable. To turn on the
device, slide the ON/OFF switch upwards and start cutting. When done, switch off the
device by sliding ON/OFF down.
The device allows for a precise haircut, e.g. on the hairline of the neck when no
caps are attached and the haircut is done using the cutting blades itself.
9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The body and accessories can be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. In case of
heavy soiling, you can use a moistened with lukewarm water cloth, wrung out of water
excess. Afterwards, wipe the cleaned area immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel
and leave the device to dry.
Do not use any chemical, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting agents for cleaning, as
they may harm the components of the appliance.
CLEANING THE CUTTING UNIT
Disconnect the power cord from the device if it is charging and make sure it is switched
off. Remove the comb attached to the cutting unit, then use your thumb to press the
cutting head from behind and carefully pull the blades with your other fingers. After
removing the cleaning unit, clean it from excess hair with a cleaning brush. After
cleaning the head, it can be reattached to the body of the device.
