Assembling the carburettor
Clean and inspect all parts.
Worn or damaged parts are replaced
with new ones.
Pay attention to the following when the
carburettor is assembled in the reverse
order to dismantling:
A. Ensure that the spring (A) is not
forgotten and that it is turned the
right way round.
B. Do not forget to fit the small filter (B)
that sits against the needle valve’s
guide.
C. The screen (C) must be clean and
undamaged.
D. Check that the cover plate (D) is
turned the right way round.
Check that the carburettor is sealed.
Connect the pressure tester no.
531 03 06-23 to the fuel inlet (E) on the
carburettor.
Pump up the pressure to 50 kPa.
Lower the carburettor in a vessel with
petrol in order to discover any leaks
more easily.
No leakage is permitted.
