Assembly
Check that the O-ring is correctly
seated.
Assembly
Check that the O-ring is seated
correctly on the carburettor before this
is fitted on the engine.
Connect the fuel hoses and ensure that
they sit correctly.
Slide the carburettor into place and fold
back the air filter holder.
Place the washer (A) in position and fit
the nuts.
Fit the air filter and its cover.
Connect the fuel hoses, slide the
carburettor into place and fit the air
filter holder.
Carburettor settings
Only the idle speed can be adjusted.
Idle speed: 2900 – 3300 rpm.
Carburettor settings
The carburettor has fixed jets for both
the low speed and high speed and
cannot be adjusted.
The only setting necessary is the
adjustment of the idle speed with the
adjuster screw.
Idle speed: 2900 – 3300 rpm.
Use the tachometer no. 502 71 14-01
when the idle speed is adjusted.
The engine should be run warm when
the speed is adjusted.
Alternative main jets are available in
the spare parts list.
NOTE!
Adjust the throttle cable at the
connection with the carburettor
so that the lever arm on the cable
connection can be moved a
further few millimetres at full
throttle using the throttle.
