Description of electrical system
Cable 2 connections to front part of the
machine
Cable 2 goes to the control panel with the battery
status indicator, buttons, key, seat switch and the
two switches for activating the cutting deck. In Ca-
ble 2 there is a red cable going to 36 V on Battery
1 and a black one to negative on Battery 2 under
the driver seat, with plus on Battery 3. Between
Batteries 1 and 2 is a cable with a 150 A fuse.
The batteries are coupled in series (3 x 12 V). The
terminal with +36 V is the positive terminal of bat-
tery 1 and the negative terminal is the negative on
battery 3.
The seat switch should be version 2 (black plastic)
that closes when sitting in the seat. The switch
sends a +5 V signal to CCU (D2) when the driver
is sitting on the seat.

Connector
indicator panel
Cable 2, other couplings
To Cable 2, the control panel is coupled to CCU
connector A. In addition to the leads that go
directly between the CCU and the control panel,
there are two leads to CCU that do not originate
from the indicator/control panel. One lead from the
microswitch for activating the cutting deck plus one
lead from the connector for charging the batteries.
When connecting the battery charger to the ma-
chine and it is activated, CCU will receive a signal
indicating that the charger is connected. This lead
is green and goes in to CCU A4.
Four leads go from the battery charging connector,
one orange lead that is +5 V and one green lead
that is signal to CCU that the charger is connected
and one blue lead that is negative (GND).
The last one is a red lead going from the connec-
tor to a 15 A fuse and on from the fuse to the plus
cable from the battery after the 150 A fuse. The
battery charger also has a fuse which may have
blown if there is a problem with charging.
Drive motor connection to machine
The drive motor is supplied with complete cabling.
The drive motor is connected to CCU via connec-
tor B, see "
8.4
" for changing the drive motor.
2x blue leads go to GND. Common red lead is
coupled to the activating key via the connection on
the switching power relay. Brown lead goes to the
single-action power relay. The ring cable lug with
two red leads in this cable is coupled from outside
to the switching power relay plus terminal. The oth-
er terminal on the relay coil is connected directly to
minus (GND) via a blue lead. After turning the key
to position 1, these red cables receive battery volt-
age. The key is fed with battery voltage from fuse
5 A via a red lead that goes into Cable 2.
After turning the key to 1, the drive motor elec-
tronics are powered through a red lead that goes
through Cable 2 to the switching relay coil. Power
then goes to CCU B11 via the other two thin red
leads that are connected to the same terminal on
the relay and via the other lead, power is coupled
to the motor electronics while the switching power
relay is activated.
There is also a brown lead in this cable that is con-
nected to the single-action power relay coil. After
turning the key to position 1, this brown lead ac-
tivates the switching power relay. Then the brake
resistance is disengaged and the brown lead com-
ing from CCU C7 is coupled together with the gray
lead that goes over to the single-action relay coil.
The brown lead coming from the motor goes to the
other side of this coil.
When ready, the motor electronics send battery
voltage via this brown lead that goes to one side
of the coil on the single-action power relay. After
pressing the button for activating the machine on
the control panel, CCU activates its output Main
Relay C7, which then grounds the other side of the
coil.
