5. Cut the floor across the ditches.
To remove a hard floor surface
WARNING:
Use protective gloves. The
blades are very sharp.
Note:
Short blades cut the floors easier than long
blades. Long blades are not always better or faster. A
short blade usually cleans the floor better than a wide
blade.
Note:
The blades are sharp for a longer time if the
work area is clean from unwanted material.
1. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to

2. Install a short blade of the correct type. Refer to
select the correct blade dimension and installation
position on page 9

3. Make sure that the blade is sharp. Sharpen the

4. Cut linear ditches in the floor. Make sure that the
distance between the ditches is the same as the
width of the long blade.
5. Install a long blade of the correct type. Refer to
select the correct blade dimension and installation
position on page 9

6. Make sure that the blade is sharp. Sharpen the
blade if it is necessary. Refer to
blade on page 15

7. Remove the floor between the ditches.
Note:
Use a chisel and move the product in a fan
shape pattern to remove tiles and floors made of
wood.
