Engine Oil and Filter (Honda engine)
Drain oil while engine is still warm.
1. Remove oil fill cap

and drain plug

to drain oil.
Note:
In the interests of environmental protection, place a plastic sheet and a
container under the machine to collect any liquid which drains off. Dispose of this
liquid in accordance with environmental protection legislation.
2. Install drain plug and tighten.
3. Fill engine crankcase with recommended oil to the upper limit mark on the
dipstick

4. Install oil fill cap and dipstick securely.
5. Remove front pedestal panel to access oil filter. To replace the oil filter, remove
the installed oil filter after oil has been drained. Apply a thin coat of oil to the
rubber gasket of the replacement oil filter. Screw the filter on until it just contacts
the filter adapter, then turn it an additional 22.24 mm (7/8 in.)
turn. Refill with oil
as described above.
