CAUTION:
Do not lower the cutting
blade too quickly. If the cutting blade hits
the surface with force, it can cause
damage to the cutting blade.
2. Turn the depth indicator and calibration wheel. The
value "0" on the gauge must align with the arrow
adjacent to the gauge.
3. Operate the product until the gauge show that the
cutting blade is at correct depth.
CAUTION:
Always do a check that
the cutting depth is correct. The blade
depth stop helps you to get the correct
cutting depth but only gives an indication
of the depth value.
4. Turn the depth stop clockwise to its maximum.
During operation, the cutting blade is not lowered
more than the set cutting depth.
5. If it is necessary to increase the cutting depth, do the
procedure that follows.
a) Turn the depth stop counterclockwise.
b) Operate the product to correct depth.
c) Turn the depth stop clockwise to its maximum to
set the new cutting depth.
6. If it is necessary to decrease the cutting depth, do
the procedure that follows.
a) Turn the depth stop counterclockwise.
b) Push the level for cutting depth adjustment
rearward to lift the cutting blade.
c) Turn the depth stop clockwise to its maximum to
set the new cutting depth.
To start the product
1. Set the lever for speed control to the stop position.
WARNING:
There is a risk of
damage or injury if the lever for speed
control is in a forward or rearward
position.
