To change audio file during streaming
• Push the rearward button or forward button to
change audio file.
To stop or start an audio file during streaming
• Push the On/Off/Mode button to stop or start an
audio file.
To accept or end a phone call
• Push the Talk button to accept or end a phone call.
Note: New phone calls are identified with a signal. A
phone call overrides FM radio mode and streaming
services.
To use your product with a two-way radio
• Push and hold the Talk button to speak through two-
way radio.
Note: A two-way radio call overrides FM radio mode and
streaming services.
To adjust the volume
1. Push the volume up button or volume down button to
adjust the volume.
2. A beep sound tells you when you are at minimum or
maximum volume.
Note: Each mode, FM radio mode and Headset mode,
and phone calls have one volume range each. This
means that you can have different volumes in each
mode.
To stop the product
1. Push and hold the On/Off/Mode button for 3
seconds.
2. An audio message tells you about the status of the
product. Refer to the table below.

Note: If you do not push a function button for 2 hours,
the product goes to sleep mode to save battery. Push a
button in less than 10 seconds to go back to the last
mode.
To stop the product by force
• Push and hold the rearward button, forward button,
volume up button and volume down button for 5
seconds.
Maintenance
To do maintenance on the product
CAUTION: Do not flush or put the product
fully into water.
CAUTION: Spray, liquids or other cleansers
containing solvents and/or alcohol can
reduce the protective capabilities.
1. Clean the product regularly. Use a cloth with water
and mild soap.
2. Do a check of the condition of the sealing rings and
the foam rubber inserts before each use.
3. Replace the sealing rings and the foam rubber
inserts 1 time each 6 months or more frequently if it
is necessary. Make sure that the bulge on the
sealing ring points down during assembly. Use
original spare parts. Article number: 596 48 94-01.
