WARNING: A damaged spark plug cap
and ignition cable can cause electrical
shock.
3. Clean the spark plug if it is dirty.
4. Make sure that the electrode gap is 0.5 mm.
5. If it is necessary, replace the spark plug.
To do a general inspection
• Make sure that all nuts and screws on the product
are tightened correctly.
To replace the drive belt
WARNING: Do not start the product without
all guards and covers installed.
1. Loosen the screw (A).

2. Loosen the 3 nuts on the cutting head (B) and turn
the belt tensioner (C) to the position "0".
3. Remove the front belt guard.
4. Remove the 2 screws on the rear belt guard.
Remove the rear belt guard.
5. Replace the drive belt. Turn the belt tensioner to the
position "1".
6. Install the 2 belt guards in opposite sequence.
7. Adjust the tension on the drive belt. Refer to
adjust the tension of the drive belt on page 26
.
To adjust the tension of the drive belt
1. Loosen the screw (A).
