Serial Numbers: Some 1997 & 1998 production units.

Issue Reported:

Field reports have indicated that these units may throw the

transmission drive belt off from the engine or transmission pulley. This can
occur when the transmission engagement lever is disengaged.

Action Required: 1.

Adjustment of the transmission belt guides at the engine

transmission pulley.

Removal of the orange and grey frame mounted belt

guides.

Reposition and install grey belt guide in inverted

position, aligning with transmission drive belt.

Adjust grey belt guide after tightening to a clearance of

3/16 inch from surface of belt, when belt is in the

engaged position.
