• Lift the door to the uppermost position and draw out the axle to release the glass
• Then install the new door using the reverse procedure
Note: When replacing the axle it will be necessary to adjust the lock nuts so that the door turns
easily.
The surface of the stove
It is not normally necessary to give the surface of the stove any further treatment. If the lacquer has
been damaged, this can be repaired by using Senotherm spray.
Cleaning the Front
All types of screen can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Stainless steel screens can be cleaned with
ordinary detergent such as a window cleaning agent with grease remover. Polish with a soft cloth.
Chimney sweeping
The chimney should be swept to reduce the risk of fire. The smoke tubes and combustion chamber
must be swept at the same time as the chimney.
Before sweeping, the regulating rod must be pushed to the extreme right to avoid soot and ashes
from entering the automatic air supply.
Removal of soot from the combustion chamber,

• The smoke shelf (7): Pull the smoke shelf towards the front of the stove, lift its front edge and
place it in a vertical position to remove the soot.
• The smoke plate (5): Remove the top cover (1) and the cast iron cover (2) on stoves with rear
smoke outlet, after which the smoke plate (5) can be cleaned through the top outlet. For stoves
with top outlet the stairs at the side of the smoke plate must be straightened out at first, after
which the smoke plates can be lifted, tilted upwards, free from its rail. The smoke plate can then be
lowered. It may be necessary to knock the smoke plate against the angle rail to remove the soot.
Make sure that the components are repositioned correctly, especially that the smoke plate rests on
the iron topholder (3) and the angle rail (6).
Guarantee
The guarantee will cease to be valid if the stove is not properly maintained.

The vent in the smoke tube may be closed.
The smoke plate is installed incorrectly.
Insufficient draught in chimney. See section on chimney or contact a chimney sweep.
Insufficient combustion air.
The cleaning door is not tight.
Uncontrolled combustion
The gasket on the door or the ash pan is not tight. Replace gasket.
