Operation modes
9.1 SIO mode
After start-up, the temperature switch is in SIO mode. SIO stands for standard I/O. In this
mode, pin 4 (C/Q1) serves as a switching output.
9.2 SDCI mode
A connected IO-Link master can switch the temperature sensor to the SDCI mode (single-
drop digital communication interface) In this operation mode the master communicates with
the IO-Link sensor via pin 4 in order to change parameters or to read out measured values.
10 Parameterization
For the commissioning of the sensor an electronic device description file is necessary, known
as "IODD" (IO Device Description).
Detailed information on IO-Link device parameters, factory settings, process and diagnostic
data, supported standard system commands and additional HYDAC device-specific system
commands for the various product versions (material numbers) can be found in the
corresponding IODD (IO Device Description).
The IODD can be downloaded at:
https://ioddfinder.io-link.com
and/or on the
HYDAC
Homepage at:

Entering the part number (9xxxxx) the corresponding ZIP file appears which includes an
additional PDF file with an IODD description.
