value display
Please note that in the measured
value display, only the minimum or
only the maximum values for both
channels A and B are shown together.
By pressing the
Reset
button, you
reset the min/max values.
The HMG 500 automatically
recognises the unit of measurement
of the HSI sensors connected. If you
want to display the measured value in
another unit of measurement, you can
set the unit to do this and the HMG
500 converts the value automatically
to the new measuring unit.
To obtain the differential, press one of
the arrow keys left or right next to
"
Mode
". If pressed again, the
differential display switches off.
The differential is possible both for the
actual measured values and for the
minimum and maximum values.
The HMG 500 records the minimum
and maximum values in addition to
the actual measured values.
Measuring the
min/max
values has a
special importance which is explained
in more detail below.
The
Minimum value
is the lowest
value which a measuring parameter
has reached in a certain time period,
the
Maximum value
is the highest
value which a measuring parameter
has reached in this time period.
If
Reset
is pressed the
min/max
values
are set to the actual measured
values at that moment. This applies to
all sensors which are connected.
The time period always begins when
the min/max values are reset.
Resetting the values is triggered by
the following:
z
Switching on
the unit

Reset
" button
