8.3 Change the filter element - DIMICRON

The procedure for changing the filter element

DIMICRON

 is

given in this chapter.

1x Allen wrench

 = 5 mm

1x Allen wrench

 = 6 mm

Proceed as follows for changing the

DIMICRON

 filter element:

1.

The following activities refer to a filter unit / filter housing
with a pot.

ü

The hydraulic system / unit is switched off and the shut-
off devices are closed at the inlet section (IN) and the
outlet (OUT).

ü

The unit is secured from being inadvertently switched
back on.

2.

Provide a suitable container (1) to collect the escaping
operating medium.
Release pressure of the filter housing.
In addition, carefully open the drain plug (2) on the filter
bowl and drain the filter housing fully with the help of the

oil discharge cap (

= 6 mm) on the base of the filter

housing. The content is ≈ 2 liters.
Turn the drain plug after draining again in the filter bowl.
