Operation Procedures
Knowledge of the proper operation of the MX3-500HE is required to
ensure user safety and efficient performance of the extractor.
SET UP AND OPERATION
1. Electrical Cords:
Two 15M Extension cords are supplied with the Nautilus MX3-500HE. The amperage required by each cord
requires that the two cords be plugged into separate circuits:
•
Cord #1 (Left side) Powers vacuum #1, vacuum #2 and cooling fan.
•
Cord #2 (Right side) Powers solution pump and the 1750W heater and APO if so equipped.
Both cords must be connected to separate 220/230 volt 10amp circuits. An overloaded circuit will not always
trip the circuit breaker immediately, but may not provide sufficient voltage for proper operation and the
breaker may trip eventually.
Plug the power cords into two separate outlets with sufficient voltage and an amp rating for the power
demands of the MX3-500HE, connect the cords to the MX3-500HE and then proceed with your set-up.
If a circuit breaker trips or the pump circuit breaker trips during operation, reset the breakers and move the
cord to another outlet as needed.
When operating the MX3-500HE using the 1750W heater DO
NOT turn the heater on until after the pump has been primed and solution hose and
tool connected – Steps #3, #4 & #5.
